Femen in Paris
The Ukrainian feminist and topless activist group has been at it again. This time they stormed the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, marking Pope Benedict’s resignation with a topless stunt and slogans like “No more homophobe” and “Bye, bye Benedict”.
Eight feminists entered the cathedral, took off their long coats – only wearing pantyhose under and flashing their breasts for shocked visitors. Some of the visitors in the cathedral voiced their disapproval of the action.
The Femen girls were dragged out of the cathedral by security shortly after, but continued their protest outside for a while shouting “In gay we trust” and “Get out homophobe.”
