The Blonde and the Brunette

Eleonora Georgi (the blonde) and Ornella Muti (the brunette) is two of the most legendaric Italian movie actresses the last 40 years, and both of them starred in the 1974 erotic drama Appassionata – Muti then18 and Georgi 21.

The movie describes the life of a family where the father is a dentist, the mother a neurotic pianist and a young daughter with a bit morbid attraction to her father. Add the daughter’s open-minded friend, who the father falls in love with, and the drama is complete.

Georgi and Muti was described as “rivals” for many years by the media, but when Georgi directed her first movie – The Man, love & Lies e – in 2003, she picked Ornella Muti in a main role. So the relation between the two beautiful actresses wasn’t quite as bad as the impression from the media.

Eleonora Georgi is 61 this year and Ornella Muti 58 – still two elegant and beautiful veterans of Italian movies and TV.
